As an IT Administrator for primary schools, you ensure the efficient and secure operation of digital technology for school staff and students. You provide on-site support at several primary schools, handling IT issues such as fault management, hardware and software troubleshooting, user support, IT orders, deployment of new IT workstations, and central management of devices, applications, and accounts. The schools mainly use iPads and Macs with Microsoft 365 as the core service platform. You work mostly independently but belong to a team of about 10 IT administrators, regularly collaborating to develop work methods and competencies to support schools with a focus on students and teachers. Part of your role includes providing IT support via a support portal.
Main requirements:
  • Completed high school education
  • Comfortable working with Apple products (iPads and Macs)
  • Knowledge in central device administration and management of iPads and Macs
  • Relevant IT education or equivalent work experience, preferably in municipal operations or schools
  • Good communication skills, adaptable to recipients' needs
  • Solution-focused approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work mostly independently on site at schools
  • Experience with Jamf is considered a plus
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure digital technology works efficiently and securely for school staff and students
  • Provide onsite IT support at primary schools for hardware and software issues
  • Manage fault reports and troubleshooting
  • User support and handling IT orders

  • Central device, application, and account management
  • Participate in a team of IT administrators to develop work methods and competence
