IT Infrastructure Technician in IT Mobility

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure Technician specializing in IT Mobility at Region Sörmland IT. The role involves driving and developing mobile IT solutions to ensure seamless, secure, and business-adapted mobile device and application functionality for approximately 10,000 users. The position is based in Nyköping or Eskilstuna with flexible working options.
Main requirements:
  • Documented high-level expertise in mobility, MDM, and IT security in large IT environments
  • 3-5 years experience working with mobile devices and related functions in large organizations, preferably public sector
  • Experience and motivation to develop and implement new IT services based on business needs
  • Deep technical understanding of IT mobility and related networks, authentication, application distribution, and IT security principles
  • Experience working with ITIL and PM3 is meritorious
  • Possession of driving license B
  • Good command of Swedish language for communication and documentation
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop mobile devices and associated infrastructure in a large-scale environment
  • Lead and coordinate development assignments within IT mobility for Region Sörmland
  • Handle and further develop MDM solutions such as Intune at an advanced level
  • Provide complex level 3 support for mobile devices (iOS/Android) and associated applications
  • Ensure proper network functions for devices like Wi-Fi, DECT, mobile data/cloud services
  • Guarantee correct IT security related to mobility
  • Document and improve routines and processes
Required hard skills:
  • Expertise in mobility management and Mobile Device Management (MDM)
  • Strong IT security knowledge related to mobility
  • Technical proficiency in networks, authentication, application distribution
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune or equivalent MDM solutions
  • Knowledge of ITIL and PM3 frameworks
