The client is seeking an IT Business Partner for Supply Chain for their Central and Northern Europe region. The role involves developing and implementing local and global IT solutions related to purchasing, production, maintenance, and warehouse management at factories in Filipstad and Celle. The position is part-time (20 hours per week, 2-3 days) for 12 months and reports to the IT Associate Director C&NE.
Main requirements:
  • Maintain close contact with local functions, process owners, key users, and central IT to capture user needs and translate them into planned activities aligned with IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with Regional Business Partner to identify system improvement or capacity needs to enhance efficiency, quality, and functionality.
  • Ensure work aligns with strategic and operational IT plans; manage updates and maintenance of existing systems and coordinate upgrades within set time and budget limits.
  • Develop and maintain regional applications specific to C&NE, ensuring functionality, service levels, and budget compliance.
  • Ensure new local applications fit into overall IT architecture and follow IT governance from initiation to end-user acceptance.
  • Participate in group projects for standardization and efficiency; analyze impact on local processes and support implementation and follow-up.
  • Coordinate and provide technical support and manage system maintenance according to user needs and corporate guidelines.
  • Plan and follow-up project activities and lead internal and external resources effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with local and central IT functions to ensure stable IT operations for factory and HR organizations.
  • Drive IT solution development and implementation in procurement, production, maintenance, and warehousing domains.
  • Lead or support IT projects ensuring they meet strategic goals within schedules and budgets.
  • Support standardization and efficiency projects at corporate level impacting local sites.
  • Manage technical support and system maintenance tasks in compliance with guidelines.
  • Lead multiple cross-functional and international teams effectively.
Required hard skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT or a similar role.
  • Strong project management skills with experience leading international and cross-functional teams.
  • Solid knowledge of SAP ERP / S/4HANA.
  • Basic understanding of data protection and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with IT service management frameworks like ISMS, ITIL, ISO 27001.
Recommended hard skills:
