As an IT Architect at Saab's IT department, you will work on designing future technical platforms with a focus on Cloud and Infrastructure. You'll analyze needs, design solutions, support service managers, ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements, and communicate solutions. Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic degree or equivalent experience
  • Several years of IT experience, preferably in a defined architect role
  • Strong proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Deep knowledge in the infrastructure domain including on-premises landscapes, hybrid and cloud solutions, and large infrastructure solutions
  • Ability to analyze requirements and design cloud/infrastructure solutions
  • Capability to communicate effectively to different audiences
  • Self-driven and able to work independently as well as in teams
  • Willingness to undergo and pass security clearance processes
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze requirements and needs assessments
  • Design solution proposals for Cloud/Infrastructure from various perspectives
  • Act as subject matter expert and support service managers/owners
  • Create decision support for business and technical choices
  • Ensure compliance with requirements, regulations, laws, processes, standards, and policies
  • Document solutions
  • Present and communicate solutions to varied audiences and forums
Required hard skills:
  • IT architecture, particularly in cloud and infrastructure
  • Experience with on-premises, hybrid and cloud infrastructure solutions
  • Knowledge of regulatory and security requirements relevant to IT systems
