Join Vattenfall as an IT Architect Specialist contributing to digitalization and a fossil-free future by shaping tomorrow's smart energy network. You will be part of a skilled architecture team working on enterprise, business, IT, and information architecture, driving integration, platforms, cloud, analytics, and security architecture efforts.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant higher education in IT, computer science or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of experience in architectural roles such as Domain Architect, IT Architect, Solution Architect, or System Architect.
  • Experience with major IT modernization and transformation projects in complex IT environments including cloud solutions.
  • Experience with Azure PaaS, API Management, Kafka, Hybrid Integrations, Databricks, Dynamics, Microservices Architecture, Zero Trust, and IAM.
  • Good understanding of information and data architecture.
  • Experience creating decision support materials, developing and communicating target architectures and IT roadmaps.
  • Familiarity with methods and frameworks such as SAFe, TOGAF, and architecture tools like Visio and Sparx Enterprise Architect.
  • Experience working with agile methods and iterative deliveries.
  • High proficiency in Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive co-creation and anchoring of future IT landscape in close collaboration with IT and business units.
  • Facilitate IT solutions across delivery areas and conduct analyses, investigations, and decision support regarding data, analytics, infrastructure, and integration.
  • Lead architecture and design work, analyze technical choices, guide initiatives, and develop designs adhering to principles and standards.
  • Communicate and visualize architectural progress through roadmaps.
  • Monitor industry trends and lead architectural assessments of new technologies, tools, and concepts.
  • Ensure architecture is updated and coherent collaboratively with other architects and business units.
  • Participate in continuous development of shared architecture methods and tools.
