An exciting internship opportunity to contribute to the modernization and refinement of the core front-end user interface and foundational UI library at Detectify. The role involves collaborating closely with the Lead Product Designer to define UI components, enhance user experience, and ensure accessibility standards are met.
Main requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Interaction Design, UX Design, Graphic Design, or related fields
  • Solid understanding of fundamental design principles including typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
  • Familiarity with Figma
  • Strong interest in user experience, accessibility, and design libraries/systems
  • Proactive, self-motivated with good communication skills
  • Curious about SaaS, B2B, and cybersecurity industry
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and prioritize components in existing Figma library to build a lean UI library
  • Collaborate on redesigning key components focusing on user flows and modern visual design
  • Ensure all UI components meet latest accessibility standards
  • Review and refine color palette for accessibility and visual harmony
  • Define usage guidelines for UI components to ensure consistency and best practices
  • Participate in regular meetings with Lead Product Designer for guidance and feedback
  • Assist in creating clear documentation for the new UI library components
  • Optionally participate in cybersecurity presentations and activities to learn more about the field
