This role is for an Information Security Manager with broad operational security responsibility. The position involves leading and developing the organization's information security efforts while coordinating initiatives in physical security, personal security, and continuity. The role reports to the IT and Security Manager and requires both strategic and operational work to safeguard information assets.
Main requirements:
- Academic degree in information security, IT, law, societal security, or related field
- Several years of experience in information security and/or overall security matters
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across organizational parts
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards and ability to apply them in practice
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
- Experience conducting training, presentations, and leading change initiatives
- High integrity, good judgment, and trustworthiness
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate the organization's information security work
- Develop and maintain governing documents, policies, and procedures
- Conduct risk and vulnerability analyses as well as gap analyses related to information security and other security areas
- Educate and spread security awareness throughout the organization
- Coordinate improvements and support operations in physical security, personal security, and continuity protection
- Monitor external environment, analyze risks and threats, and advise on security matters
- Report security status, identified risks, and improvement proposals to management and board
Required hard skills:
- Knowledge of information security management and risk assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and security standards
- Experience with development and maintenance of security policies and procedures
