Biltema Sweden AB is seeking a Helpdesk/Support Technician to provide IT support primarily to their stores across Sweden. The role involves software support including POS systems and Microsoft Office, user management, troubleshooting computers and networks, hardware and software installation, hardware procurement and warranty claims, testing software updates, and documentation. The position is based in Biltema's modern store in Partille, and collaboration with colleagues nationwide occurs mainly via phone and email using ticketing systems. Responsibilities:
- Provide support for software such as POS systems and Microsoft Office
- Manage user accounts and troubleshoot computer and network issues
- Install hardware and software
- Handle certain hardware purchases and warranty claims
- Test new versions of software in test environments
- Document manuals and procedures
- Support peripheral equipment like printers, scanners, handheld devices
- Coordinate with developers for internal systems
