System Developer for Single Digital Gateway (SDG)

Join Myndigheten för digital förvaltning as a System Developer focusing on backend development with experience in frontend technologies. Work on digital infrastructure and services such as secure messaging, electronic identification, and the EU's Single Digital Gateway. Collaborate agilely in cross-functional teams, contributing to the entire lifecycle of IT services, and drive the digital transformation of public administration in Sweden.
Main requirements:
- Experience in frontend development with frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular or similar for at least 3 years
- Experience in backend development in Java for REST services for at least 3 years
- Experience developing in Java within a Linux environment for at least 3 years
- Experience in test automation using Junit, Mockito, Wiremock, Rest Assured, Cypress or similar for at least 3 years
- Experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL, for at least 3 years
- Experience with Git and version control systems
- Experience working in team-based agile development environments
- Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain digital services and infrastructure including secure messaging, electronic identification and signature, and the EU’s Single Digital Gateway (SDG)
- Collaborate closely with architects, UX designers, and internal stakeholders to understand and implement requirements
- Work within agile teams taking ownership of services throughout their lifecycle
- Engage in continuous learning and apply best practices in software development and testing
- Adapt to changing circumstances and technologies, contributing to the evolution of the digital services
Required hard skills:
- Frontend development with frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular
- Backend Java development for REST services
- Java development in Linux environments
- Test automation tools such as Junit, Mockito, Wiremock, Rest Assured, Cypress
- SQL and PostgreSQL database management
- Git and version control
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience with Quarkus or Spring frameworks
- Experience with Kustomize and YAML for Kubernetes deployment in OpenShift or similar
- Familiarity with Docker/Podman containerization
- Knowledge of eIDAS and OpenID Connect/oAuth 2.0
- Experience in leadership roles such as tech lead or scrum master
