Join AVL, a global leader in mobility technology for automotive development, simulation, and testing, as an Experienced Automotive Software Engineer. Contribute to innovative vehicle system software projects including AD/ADAS, Electric Drive Systems, ICE, and HiL/Testing Environment Development at our Liljeholmen office.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Software, Vehicle Engineering or comparable; Master’s preferred
  • At least 2 years of professional and industry experience
  • Genuine interest in automotive systems
  • Technical control and architecture skills
  • Knowledge in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, Python
  • HiL system knowledge such as dSpace, ETAS
  • Fluent in English
Responsibilities:
  • Develop innovative strategies and functions for vehicle systems using modern tools
  • Analyze and evaluate new and existing concepts and solutions
  • Provide technical support for customer and internal projects
  • Identify developments in the area of responsibility
Required hard skills:
  • MATLAB/Simulink

  • HiL systems (e.g., dSpace, ETAS)
Recommended hard skills:
  • Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Understanding and awareness of ISO26262
