Lead the Sales Tools & Technology department at Axis Communications, overseeing development of web-based applications and integrations to enhance global sales operations. Manage a global team and drive the delivery of robust, scalable sales solutions.
Main requirements:
  • Lead and mentor three engineering teams totaling approximately 30 professionals, including direct management of 6 individuals and leadership of managers for other groups.
  • Define and execute technology roadmap for sales-focused systems such as Salesforce CRM, custom web applications, and data integrations.
  • Champion Agile and CI/CD practices to enhance team velocity and code quality.
  • Collaborate with architects and senior engineers on technology and architectural decisions.
  • Ensure systems are reliable, secure, and scalable to support company growth.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships across sales, finance, and other departments to build solutions that deliver business value.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and nurture an engineering culture focused on solving real-world sales problems.
  • Translate sales operations needs into technical requirements and scalable solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Oversee development and maintenance of web applications, SaaS platforms, and API-driven systems.

Required hard skills:
  • Software development with 10+ years experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
  • Experience managing engineering teams and managers.
  • Proven expertise with web applications, SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and API systems.
  • Strong understanding of sales operations in global organizations.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD.
