Domain Architect IT Power System Operations

Lead the architectural work within the domain of Power System Operations, including developing target architectures, collaborating with various architects and specialists, and supporting portfolio management within Svenska kraftnät's IT-division to support the energy transition and digitalization efforts.
Main requirements:
  • University degree in a relevant technical field
  • Several years of current work experience in IT architecture following established methods and with tools/processes experience
  • Several years of experience developing IT solutions
  • Experience defining, formulating, and communicating architectural requirements to external suppliers
  • At least 5 to 7 years experience with power systems and SCADA systems
  • Experience independently creating and anchoring target architectures
  • Experience working with IT security in critical societal operations with very high security requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive architectural work within the Power System Operations domain
  • Develop and maintain descriptions of capabilities within the responsibility area
  • Describe system integrations within the domain and across domains
  • Understand processes crossing domain borders and data/information needs shared between domains
  • Ensure domain initiatives align with Svenska kraftnät's target architectures, guidelines, and approved roadmap for architectural governance
  • Identify and address functional gaps or overlaps
  • Act as a link between business architects in the System division and the IT organization
  • Environmental scanning and keeping updated within the area
  • Communicate architecture to relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate and coach solution architects working within the domain
  • Contribute in related solution discussions
  • Support portfolio management
