System Developer for Single Digital Gateway (SDG)

Seeking a system developer with frontend experience and passion for backend development to build and maintain digital infrastructure services including digital communication, identification, and signature solutions at the Swedish Agency for Digital Government (Digg).

  • Minimum 3 years experience in frontend development using Vue, React, Angular or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Java backend development for REST services.
  • Minimum 3 years experience developing Java applications in Linux environments.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with test automation tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Wiremock, Rest Assured, Cypress, and microservice architecture.
  • At least 3 years experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Git and version control.
  • Experience in team-based agile development.
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain various information exchange, communication, administrative support, identification and signing solutions.
  • Work closely with architects, UX designers, and team members to build digital infrastructure.
  • Operate according to the philosophy that the team developing a service is responsible for its entire lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Work independently when required, while thriving in team environments.
  • Participate in agile practices and continuous delivery of IT services.
Required hard skills:
  • Frontend development with Vue, React, Angular or similar frameworks.
  • Backend Java development for RESTful services.
  • Java development in Linux environment.
  • Test automation with JUnit, Mockito, Wiremock, Rest Assured, Cypress.
  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
  • Git version control.
  • Agile development methodologies.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience with Quarkus or Spring frameworks.
  • Experience with kustomize and YAML files for Kubernetes deployments in OpenShift or similar platforms.
  • Docker/Podman containerization.
  • Experience with eIDAS and OpenID Connect/OAuth 2.0 authentication and authorization standards.
  • Previous leading roles such as technical lead or scrum master.
