Join Electrolux Group as a Data Engineer in the Data Experience Organization to shape the future of data through building scalable data products and a modern data platform. Work collaboratively on data ingestion pipelines, architecture, and data mesh to empower decision-making, AI, and analytics.
Main requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 7+ years hands-on experience with SQL, Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, and Apache Airflow
  • Expert Python/Pyspark skills and knowledge of advanced data ingestion methods (APIs, Batch, streaming)
  • Experience in data structures, data modeling, and database technologies
  • Capable of architectural recommendations, complex task solving, end-to-end solution design, and risk mitigation
  • Leadership skills to guide internal/external team members
  • Experience performing code reviews
  • Familiarity with software engineering tools like Azure DevOps, Github, Jira, Jenkins
  • Mentorship skills for junior engineers
  • Excellent English communication skills
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines adhering to engineering frameworks
  • Execute and maintain data mesh and medallion data architecture aligned with strategy
  • Work on Integrated Data Warehouse maintenance, migration, and roadmap
  • Provide development estimations and carry out unit and system integration testing
  • Integrate data and provision data products ensuring compliance with security and privacy
  • Conduct quality assessments and enforce data quality rules
  • Document technical use cases following company standards
  • Participate and lead data engineering forums
  • Contribute to development and enhancement of engineering frameworks and best practices
  • Recommend optimizations and innovations for data ingestion
