Join Random Forest West AB in Gothenburg as a Data Engineer or Full-stack BI Consultant. Work with cutting-edge data platforms and develop within a passionate team focused on technical expertise, knowledge sharing, and problem-solving. Engage in building, developing, and managing modern cloud data platforms, taking early technical responsibility and influencing platform design. Work with batch and streaming data pipelines using modern tools like Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, and Databricks.
Main requirements:
- Relevant university education in computer science, physics, mathematics or similar.
- 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data science, or similar fields.
- Good knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with Python or similar programming languages.
- Experience working in Azure environments such as Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Snowflake.
- Fluent communication skills in Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop batch pipelines and data platforms in Azure environments.
- Develop data integration, storage, and transformation solutions using SQL and Python.
- Use modern tools including Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
- Collaborate with consultants and customers in agile teams.
- Contribute to technology selections and architectural decisions.
- Work closely with clients and support continuous improvement of data solutions.
