D365 F&O Functional Solution Architect

The role is to act as a link between business needs and technical solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The position requires deep understanding of manufacturing and supply chain, as well as technical insight to create scalable and sustainable end-to-end solutions from process and application to data and security. The architect works closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, involved in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, implementation, documentation, and training. This global role includes operational problem solving, long-term development, and leading improvement initiatives and complex projects, including international travel.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant academic degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 7-10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in ERP solutions with Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Deep understanding of related modules: finance, supply chain management, manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, CRM, EDI/System integration, and eCommerce.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as ITIL, PM3, and Lean.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Translate business requirements into functional solutions in Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Lead functional design workshops and define end-to-end process flows.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new implementations and rollouts.
  • Design and configure standard functionality in D365 F&O and guide on customization needs.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and architects for unified delivery.
  • Support implementations, testing, go-live, and provide functional expertise support.
  • Create and maintain documentation, process maps, and configuration guides.
  • Perform market analysis and evaluate new technologies and solutions.
  • Identify improvement areas in existing systems and processes.
  • Contribute to the development of the Business Systems roadmap.
