Join Wolt Development Sverige AB as a Backend Engineer focusing on Python and Golang to develop scalable marketing technology solutions. Work within the Marketing Tech team to build internal services around marketing and consent, enabling autonomous campaign management and compliant experiences. Collaborate cross-functionally across Wolt and DoorDash teams, contributing to various projects including microservices, ETL jobs, and streaming processing workers.
Main requirements:
  • Experience designing and building software and APIs using modern Python or Golang.
  • Familiarity with grpc, FastAPI, Echo, PostgreSQL, Spark.
  • Understanding of building and operating scalable software services.
  • Experience with deployment, monitoring, alerting of microservices.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
  • Good communication skills and proactive collaboration across teams.
  • Product-oriented and proactive problem solver.
  • Ability to take ownership and deliver projects end-to-end.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain internal services supporting marketing campaigns and consent management.
  • Design and build scalable backend services including microservices, ETL jobs, streaming workers.
  • Collaborate with marketing and analytics stakeholders and product leads to deliver solutions from idea to production.
  • Work cross-functionally with other Wolt and DoorDash teams to align roadmaps and build services.
