Joining Sopra Steria, a leading Nordic digital transformation company and recognized as one of Sweden's best workplaces in 2024, as an experienced and skilled AWS Cloud Architect. In this full-time role, you will play a critical part in delivering innovative cloud-based projects, contribute to advancing the cloud offerings, and serve as a subject matter expert or technical team leader.
Main requirements:
  • 5 to 8 years documented experience as an AWS architect with strong technical focus and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Ability to automate and optimize workflows
  • Experience translating client needs into concrete design proposals and implementations
  • Experience working in both large and small teams in a consulting environment
Responsibilities:
  • Participate actively in planning, designing, and implementing AWS solutions for clients
  • Operationally work with the full breadth of the AWS platform including IaaS and PaaS, focusing on identity and access management via AWS IAM
  • Coach and guide clients on optimal use of cloud and hybrid technologies for new solutions or migrating existing services to AWS
  • Act as subject matter expert supporting multiple teams or as a technical team leader responsible for delivery
Required hard skills:
  • Design and implementation of public cloud solutions focusing on cost optimization, security, scalability, performance, and availability
  • Programming and/or scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, Powershell)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK
  • Understanding and experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework, Cloud Adoption Framework, and Security Reference Architecture
  • Knowledge in cloud security and Zero Trust architecture
Recommended hard skills:
  • Knowledge and experience with container solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes
