Agile Team Member with Focus on Technical Testing

Work as part of an agile IT development team to drive and ensure the development, execution, and maintenance of manual, performance, and automated tests following department guidelines and strategies at Bolagsverket, a Swedish government agency. Contribute to the quality assurance of IT services while working in a collaborative, learning-focused environment.
Main requirements:
  • Post-secondary education within IT or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in agile test work within IT
  • Experience working in medium to large IT organizations focused on test development in maintenance and development of IT systems
  • Good Swedish language skills, both oral and written
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, execute, and maintain manual, performance, and automated tests for IT services managed by the development team
  • Participate actively in the team’s initiatives to achieve delivery goals including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, and deployment
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary agile team members to maintain, further develop, and create new IT services
Required hard skills:
  • Agile test work experience in IT
  • Manual exploratory testing
  • Technical testing including automated tests in Java and/or JavaScript (preferred)
  • Knowledge of performance testing APIs like REST and GraphQL (preferred)
  • Experience with test tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, Grafana K6 (preferred)
  • Experience working with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban, and DevOps
  • Experience working within ITIL processes
Recommended hard skills:
  • Relevant academic education in IT
