Analyst with focus on Life Cycle Cost (LCC)

A technically educated and analytical person is sought to contribute knowledge and experience in developing and influencing maintenance systems for current and future complex combat vehicle systems. The role involves analyzing life cycle costs, developing LCC, reliability, and maintainability models, and reporting results for internal and external projects.
Main requirements:
  • Technical education at university or equivalent in technical/system science or experience.
  • Good knowledge of statistics and probability theory.
  • Analytical and structured with strong skills in MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively.
  • Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
  • Collaborative and problem-solving oriented mindset.
Responsibilities:
  • Analyze life cycle costs for systems.
  • Develop tailored LCC, reliability, and maintainability models for products.
  • Evaluate real outcomes versus predicted maintenance results.
  • Produce spare parts forecasts based on validated data and models.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports including spare parts suggestions, stock proposals, optimal distributions, availability and cost analyses.
  • Present and discuss analysis results in internal and external projects.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments and customers.
Required hard skills:
  • Technical/system science education or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and probability.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience as an analyst, support, maintenance technician, logistics, programming, database technology, optimization, or simulation.
  • Experience with MS Access and OPUS Suite (OPUS10, Simlox, Catloc).
