Join Ericsson's Performance Engineering Unit in Kista to troubleshoot and resolve Baseband software issues in the 5G Radio Access Network (RAN). This role involves deep analysis of software problems, collaboration with internal and external teams, and advancing automation using data analytics and machine learning.
Main requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of 5G and LTE Radio Access Networks
- Experience or strong interest in automation, data analytics, machine learning, and AI
- Background in system design, testing, or programming related to Baseband software
- Understanding of configuration management and troubleshooting tools (advantage)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Technical degree (Bachelor's or higher) in a relevant field
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot reported Baseband software problems in depth to identify root causes and resolve issues
- Collaborate with internal teams and global partners to maintain system integrity and performance
- Engage with customer-facing and test teams to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution
- Support the transition towards automation, data analytics, and machine learning techniques in troubleshooting
- Work overtime as needed based on project demands
