Bankgirot is seeking a Workplace Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing team in Stockholm. Bankgirot holds a unique position in Sweden's payment market, currently undergoing a major transformation. The IT organization is expanding to develop future-proof solutions aligned with international standards and regulations, while ensuring the current payment system operates securely and stably every day.
Main requirements:
  • Experience working with IT workplace services bridging infrastructure, systems, and end users
  • Ability to work independently with application packaging, configuration, and troubleshooting in physical and virtual environments (VDI)
  • Knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft 365, license management, and application handling in standardized environments
  • Experience or certification as Microsoft 365 Administrator and/or Managing Microsoft Teams preferred
  • Experience with security requirements in client environments (e.g., Intune or similar MDM solutions) is advantageous
  • Experience from regulated industries like banking or public sector is a merit
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Ability to pass security clearance according to Swedish Security Protection Act
Responsibilities:
  • Operate, configure, and develop workplace services including traditional and cloud-based solutions such as M365, client environments, VDI, mobility, remote access, and printing services
  • Manage and package workplace-related applications ensuring installations and updates comply with security requirements, architecture, and guidelines
  • Provide 2nd-line technical support managing permissions, licenses, incident handling, and acting as liaison in escalations
  • Contribute to roadmap planning and continuous improvements through requirements management, documentation, proactive monitoring, and long-term operation follow-up
