The role involves leading and collaborating with agile teams to design, build, and maintain secure and scalable systems primarily on public cloud platforms such as Azure.
Main requirements:
- Strong experience in DevSecOps practices and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform.
- Proficiency in Linux system administration (Windows knowledge is a plus).
- Expertise in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of security standards and monitoring tools, e.g., OWASP, Grafana, Prometheus.
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with Snowflake integration, event management, and DevOps tools.
- Experience with relational and document databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with DevSecOps and Agile teams to implement and enhance automation and security practices.
- Deploy and manage applications on public cloud platforms, especially Azure.
- Manage and configure network components such as DNS, load balancers, firewalls, and certificates.
- Ensure robust security monitoring for service-based architectures and applications.
- Oversee management of relational and document databases e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Integrate and configure ServiceNow for event and incident management in DevOps workflows.
- Build and maintain secure and scalable CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
- Implement observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry.
- Automate infrastructure deployments using Terraform and Ansible.
- Support containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Collaborate on process improvements using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
