System Specialist

As a System Specialist for KID | Hemtex logistics systems, you will ensure efficient operation of systems and technical installations, proactively working on improvements. This role focuses on creating and maintaining structures for logistics IT and technical systems with emphasis on WMS and automation solutions. You will act as the central coordinator between operations, suppliers, and IT within the group, responsible for service level agreement outcomes. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be part of a team developing warehouse processes and expected to be an active participant.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant university degree in logistics, information systems, computer science or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of professional experience with similar roles in warehouse operations
  • Experience and knowledge in working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and automation solutions
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Valid B driver's license and access to a car
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain logistics IT systems
  • Create and ensure implementation of system maintenance procedures
  • Configure systems as needed for changes
  • Specify requirements and coordinate development with suppliers
  • Test new releases and delegate tasks related to testing and training
  • Own system processes and manage routines and training programs for other system users
  • Follow up on suppliers' issue handling and service levels
  • Establish structure for hardware products and internal handling processes to achieve efficiency (e.g., scanners, printers, tablets)
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with WMS and automation solutions in logistics

  • Ability to specify and coordinate with IT suppliers
  • Testing and training related to system releases
