Main requirements:
- Thorough and structured working style with high technical interest.

- Study and verify overvoltage protection schemes through simulations (PSCAD/EMTDC).
- Investigate fault scenarios and analyze resulting overvoltages for equipment specifications and mechanical layout.
- Coordinate and interface with other departments to ensure effective collaboration.

Responsibilities:
- Perform overvoltage protection scheme studies and verification using simulation tools (PSCAD/EMTDC).
- Analyze project and tender specific fault scenarios for insulation coordination.
- Provide simulation data as input for equipment specifications and mechanical layouts.
- Collaborate with interfacing departments to understand and fulfill project requirements.
- Engage in projects, tenders, basic design, and research and development activities.
- Support and promote a culture of safety and integrity within the team.
Required hard skills:
- Simulation of overvoltage protection schemes using PSCAD/EMTDC.
- Understanding of HVDC systems and insulation coordination principles.
- Ability to analyze fault scenarios and overvoltage conditions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant Engineering field.
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience in HVDC or related power transmission systems.
- Research and development experience in electrical engineering.
