Senior IT Project Manager - Implementation & System Development

We are looking for an experienced IT project manager for an assignment within one of Sweden's most important critical societal programs. The role involves responsibility for technical project management in connection with new development, further development, and implementation of complex IT solutions.
Main requirements:
  • At least 12 years of experience as an IT project manager, including at least 5 years in application development and 3 years in implementation projects of purchased systems
  • At least 5 years experience in project management in large and complex IT environments
  • At least 5 years experience managing projects in environments with high IT security requirements
  • At least 5 years experience in system development projects for solutions handling large data volumes (within the last 10 years)
  • At least 5 years experience working in or with agile teams
  • At least 5 years experience with PPS, PROPS or equivalent project management models
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical project delivery from planning to implementation
  • Drive security issues together with the security function
  • Coordinate activities with business, management, external suppliers and Nordic/European partners
  • Report to program management and steering group
  • Ensure handover to operations according to established models (PPS)
  • Potentially lead feasibility studies related to new initiatives
