Senior System Developer position for a public sector client at Professional Galaxy AB. The role involves backend system development and maintenance for border police applications, working in an agile environment to contribute to a safer Sweden.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years documented experience in Java development within the last 7 years.
  • Documented experience in at least one assignment involving development on Kubernetes platform.
  • Minimum 5 years documented experience working with databases such as MySQL within the last 7 years.
  • At least 2 years of experience with SpringBoot framework.
  • Minimum 3 years experience writing and executing automated tests.
  • Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain backend systems for one of the border police's apps.
  • New development and maintenance of team products.
  • Integration with other national and international systems.
  • Assist with system and component development aimed at improving police efficiency.
  • Participate in workshops with business representatives.
  • Conduct system development primarily using Java.
  • Work within agile practices.
  • Deliver according to plans.
  • Collaborate with other related assignments.
