Main requirements:

PhD degree in optics or photonics preferred
Experience building and working with optical measurement setups, ideally in clean-room environment
Proficient in English, both spoken and written
Expertise in optical design and simulation software such as Zemax
Solid understanding of wave optics
Skills in concept development and optical engineering
Experience in R&D and/or product development

Responsibilities:

Work on in-house assignments and customer projects related to optical systems
Design classical lenses and lens systems (objectives, collimators, projectors)
Develop and construct measurement and verification systems with optics
Optimize lighting systems and light-guiding for electronic devices
Provide optics-related courses, tailored education and advisory services

Required hard skills:

Optical measurement setup design
Optical design and simulation (Zemax or similar)
Wave optics knowledge
Concept development in optics
Optical engineering
R&D and product development experience
