Network and Infrastructure Specialist

We are looking for a network and infrastructure specialist passionate about networks and communication, eager to work with the latest technology, and ready to challenge customers with new technical solutions. This role is based in Solna and starts immediately, considering notice periods. The position begins as a consulting assignment with the ambition to transition to a direct customer employment. As a consultant at Centric, you will have a secure employment and gain valuable work experience while being supported in your development by your consulting manager.
Main requirements:
  • 8–10 years of IT experience focusing on network and infrastructure
  • Experience with Cisco products (ISE, Meraki, WLC, Nexus)
  • Experience with Fortinet firewalls
  • Experience with Sophos security solutions
  • Experience in server and data center infrastructure, including virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Strong technical interest, self-driven and stress-resistant
  • Good teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle high and varying work pace and flexibility in approach
Responsibilities:
  • Work with routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless networks
  • Ensure stable and secure IT infrastructure
  • Configure and implement technical solutions
  • Act as an advisor within network and infrastructure
  • Participate in strategic planning and optimization
  • Document and report technical solutions
  • Work with server and data center infrastructure, including virtualization
  • Participate in implementation and operation of customer systems
  • Collaborate closely within a team of seven to deliver robust and efficient IT solutions
