IT and Information Security Analyst

As an IT and Information Security Analyst at the Swedish Armed Forces, you will work with development, management and technical problem-solving in IT and information security. The role involves conducting threat and vulnerability analyses, security assessments, and contributing to architecture and design with a focus on IT and information security. You will support projects and operations with your expertise, ensuring secure IT systems and compliance with legal and security regulations.
Main requirements:
- Relevant academic degree in IT or equivalent competence recognized by the employer
- At least 5 years of current experience in IT and information security
- Work experience in the public sector
- Experience in security reviews, validations or audits
- Experience performing threat and vulnerability analyses for operations and IT systems
- Experience interpreting legally binding regulations and translating them into IT systems and operational requirements
- Fluency in spoken and written Swedish
- Valid B driving license
Responsibilities:
- Conduct threat and vulnerability analyses for operations and systems, including documentation
- Prepare Special Security Protection Assessments (SSB) and IT Security Specifications (ITSS), maintain them through requirements-build-test-evaluation chain
- Participate in architecture and design work related to system construction and prepare descriptive documentation regarding IT and information security
- Prepare and review system approval and accreditation documentation/decisions for the Swedish Armed Forces systems
- Evaluate and review business processes and technical solutions from a security perspective
- Perform security analyses of IT systems, organizational structure, products and technical solutions
- Develop or contribute to guidelines and policies related to IT and information security
- Conduct continuity planning
- Analyze issues, methods, incidents within information security and propose decisions and measures
- Evaluate, create and/or review methods within information security
