Join Esri Sweden's Enterprise team to work on integrating and supporting GIS technologies in customers' IT infrastructures, ensuring reliable server operation and contributing to societal benefits through GIS applications.
Main requirements:
- Relevant background and experience in IT with a technical focus, preferably in IT technology, GIS or GIS technology.
- At least 5 years of professional experience facing diverse IT or IT-GIS interfacing challenges.
- Experience working with servers and server operations sufficient to engage confidently with customers on these topics.
- Relevant university education in IT or GIS, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure healthy server infrastructure with adequate capacity and redundancy for Esri products at customer sites.
- Design system architecture to support stable and reliable operation of ArcGIS within customer environments.
- Monitor and improve architecture, performance, integrations, security, robustness, automation, and monitoring of enterprise GIS solutions.
- Support configuration, setup of technical prerequisites, cloud operations, and customer education.
- Collaborate closely with customers and internal teams to understand user patterns and future usage to optimize system design.
Required hard skills:
- Experience with server administration and operations.
- Technical expertise in IT infrastructure relevant to GIS solutions.
- Technical knowledge to design and supervise system architecture for enterprise GIS products.
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience with ArcGIS Enterprise including configuration, administration, and GIS solution customization.
- Certifications in GIS and ArcGIS.
- Experience with databases and Python scripting, especially related to infrastructure as code.
