As a Data & BI Specialist at Scandinavian Cosmetics, you play a central role in developing data platforms and analytical solutions, covering data integration, storage, reporting, and analysis. You ensure a stable data infrastructure while creating user-friendly reports and dashboards that meet business needs and translate those into sustainable data-driven solutions.
Main requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years experience in data analysis and business intelligence.
- Strong skills in Microsoft BI and Azure, including data modeling and ETL processes.
- Experience with Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Fabric.
- Experience managing databases, data integration, and ETL workflows in cloud environments.
- Ability to create intuitive dashboards and reports to clarify business insights.
- Ability to bridge IT and business requirements and coordinate with external IT providers.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical solutions in business terms.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, analyze and visualize data using Power BI to support business objectives.
- Create and maintain dynamic Power BI reports for easy understanding and action across departments.
- Use tools like Azure Data Factory and SQL to extract and process data from multiple sources ensuring reliability and accessibility.
- Implement and optimize solution architecture for data projects ensuring efficient and secure data management in Azure.
- Participate in architectural decisions related to BI and data platforms and engage with external vendors as a requirements owner and technical contributor.
- Conduct deep data analyses and produce insight reports identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Ensure high data quality, documentation, and contribute to structured data governance and security.
- Collaborate with commercial and operational teams to identify data-driven opportunities aligned with business strategy.
