Sopra Steria, a leading Nordic digital transformation company, is seeking an experienced and skilled Azure Cloud Architect to join their prominent team. Main requirements:
  • 5 to 8 years of documented experience as an Azure architect with strong technical focus and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written
  • Ability to automate and optimize workflows
  • Experience translating customer needs into concrete design proposals and implementations
  • Experience from the consulting industry, capable of working in both large and small teams
Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in planning, designing, and implementing Azure solutions for clients
  • Operate with solutions covering the full spectrum of the Azure platform, including IaaS and PaaS, with a focus on Entra ID for identity and access management
  • Coach and guide clients on optimal use of cloud and hybrid technologies to implement new solutions or migrate existing services to Azure
  • Serve as subject matter expert supporting multiple teams or act as technical team leader with overall delivery responsibility
Required hard skills:
  • Experience designing and implementing solutions in the public cloud focusing on cost optimization, security, scalability, performance, and availability
  • Proficiency with programming and/or scripting languages such as Powershell, Bash, Python
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as ARM, Bicep, Terraform
  • Understanding and experience with frameworks like Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, Security Adoption Framework, and Well-Architected Framework
  • Knowledge in cloud security and Zero Trust architecture
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience and knowledge of container solutions like Docker and Kubernetes
