System Engineer – Operations and Maintenance within TETRA

A key role contributing to ensuring stable and reliable communication in a vital societal service, working with operation and maintenance of TETRA-related equipment in a quality and safety focused environment at LFV.
Main requirements:
  • At least three years of upper secondary education or equivalent in technology
  • Experience with transmission technology, radio networks, and IT infrastructure
  • Experience with IP networks, firewalls, and routing
  • Experience working independently in field environments with high demands on quality and documentation
  • Driver's license class B
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Good verbal and written skills in Swedish and English
Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and install technical equipment independently and in teams
  • Conduct complex fault analysis and resolve various levels of network problems to ensure high system availability
  • Ensure functionality and availability of Radio, Transmission, and IT equipment
  • Perform performance improvements and upgrades of hardware and software systems
  • Create documentation and technical reports
  • Maintain close contact with customers and other technical teams
