Experienced Operations Technician

We are seeking an experienced operations technician passionate about IT operations and problem solving to join a competent IT team in Stockholm. This role focuses on shared server and network environments, application and system operations, primarily Microsoft-based solutions.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • At least five years of experience as an operations technician or similar role
  • Experience in installation, operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of Windows server environments
  • Knowledge of virtualization, storage, and backup
  • Basic understanding of networks, switches, routing, and firewalls
  • Experience with various Microsoft 365 services and products
Responsibilities:
  • Focus on shared server and network environment management
  • Handle application and system operations
  • Work with Microsoft solutions and network infrastructure including SQL, Exchange, Hyper-V, and SAN
  • Support on-premise servers both in own premises and third-party provider locations
Required hard skills:
  • Windows Server environment management
