The role involves independent and team work across the entire Region Halland, handling IT orders, hardware validation, lifecycle management, installation, deployment and troubleshooting, script and batch job management, application packaging, and support for printers, mobile devices, and conference equipment. It includes documentation, second- and third-line support, participating as a resource in IT projects and development tasks.
Main requirements:
  • Completed industry-specific IT courses.
  • Basic technical competence and understanding of PC components and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and later, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, PC hardware, and basic troubleshooting of computers and printers in networks.
  • Ability to independently solve IT-related problems, including advanced OS troubleshooting and integration with applications and IT systems.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in similar roles.
  • Valid driver's license (Class B).
  • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities:
  • Handle IT orders, hardware validation, lifecycle management, installation, deployment, and troubleshooting tasks.
  • Manage scripts and batch jobs for client management and application packaging.
  • Support printers, mobile devices, and conference equipment within Region Halland.
  • Document processes and provide second- and third-line support for the digital workplace.
  • Collaborate with other IT departments.
  • Participate as a resource in various IT projects and developmental assignments.
  • Maintain order and documentation related to IT logistics and equipment handling.
  • Work across geographically dispersed sites within Region Halland.
