As a Configuration Manager at Saab AB, you will handle and lead the configuration management for our systems/products. You'll work closely with project managers and system owners on change management and ensure product/system structures are approved and revision-controlled.
Main requirements:
- Plan and implement configuration management processes and ensure compliance
- Lead configuration change boards (CCB)
- Document baselines at project decision points
- Report configuration status for product information
- Act as a point of contact for configuration issues internally and externally
- Contribute to the development of company configuration management processes
Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead configuration management activities for projects
- Work closely with project managers and system owners on change management
- Lead change forums to ensure product structures are approved and controlled
- Handle structured information in Product Data Management systems
- Ensure products are delivered with high quality and meet standards and customer requirements
Required hard skills:
- Experience in configuration management for complex systems
- Experience with system development
- Experience handling structured information in Product Data Management (PDM) software
- Technical education or equivalent work experience
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience from change management forums
- Knowledge of revision and baseline documentation
