TELUS Digital is seeking Navajo language annotators for a writing and annotation project that involves completing paragraphs and assessing transcribed texts for linguistic quality and accuracy.
Main requirements:
  • Native speaker of Navajo
  • Currently located in the United States
  • Pass English Fluency Test
  • Have access to a computer (desktop/laptop) and stable internet connection
  • Be over 18 years old
Responsibilities:
  • Complete writing tasks by continuing text paragraphs with 50-100 words
  • Annotate Navajo texts produced by writing assistants, organizing transcriptions into well-structured documents
  • Evaluate texts based on linguistic acceptability, output quality, hallucinations, and overall quality
Required hard skills:
  • Native proficiency in Navajo
  • English language proficiency to pass fluency test
  • Basic computer skills to use annotation tools and internet resources
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience in writing, annotation, or similar linguistic tasks
Soft skills:
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Good judgment to assess text quality
