Windows Server Specialist

As a Windows Server Specialist, you will ensure the lifecycle of the server environment, handle incoming requests and incidents, and review and fix vulnerabilities through patching.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience administering Windows servers in a corporate environment.
  • Experience working with at least three generations of Windows Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022).
  • Minimum 2 years experience handling on-premises Windows Server services/functions such as DNS, DHCP, DFS, PKI, WMI, ADUC, GPO, WSUS.
  • Minimum 4 years experience troubleshooting IT-related problems in a corporate environment (on-site/2nd/3rd line support).
  • Strong experience with PowerShell scripting in a corporate environment.
  • Education in computer engineering or similar.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Structured and process-oriented approach.
  • Security-focused mindset.
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the lifecycle management of Windows server environments.
  • Handle incoming requests and incidents related to Windows servers.
  • Review and remediate vulnerabilities through patching.
Required hard skills:
  • Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022)
  • Management of on-prem Windows Server services (DNS, DHCP, DFS, PKI, WMI, ADUC, GPO, WSUS)
  • IT troubleshooting in corporate environments (2nd/3rd line support)
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Knowledge of computer engineering concepts
