UX Designer for App – Long-term Assignment in Public Sector

We are looking for an experienced UX designer to help create societal benefits by improving digital experiences for hundreds of thousands of users every day. This is a consulting assignment starting in June 2025 as part of a cross-functional and agile team working on digital development in public transportation.
Main requirements:
- At least 9 years of full-time UX/UI design experience, with minimum 5 years focused on UI
- At least 5 years of UX design experience specifically for apps
- Documented experience developing and managing design systems for an app with over 500,000 users
- At least 3 years experience working with design tokens in digital projects
- At least 3 years experience in accessibility adaptations for apps
- At least 4 years experience using Figma
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and further develop design systems
- Focus on user-centered design and accessibility
- Create clear, sustainable digital guidelines
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other designers
- Visualize solutions and take responsibility for design decisions
- Ensure design solutions are accessible and user-friendly, especially in a government agency context
Required hard skills:
- UX/UI design for apps
- Design system development and maintenance

- Accessibility for mobile applications
- Figma
Recommended hard skills:
- Agile team experience (minimum 3 years)
- Experience with iOS and Android component libraries (minimum 2 years)
- Prototyping with variables in Figma (minimum 1 year)
- Iconography work (minimum 2 years)
- Experience in public sector or government agency work (minimum 2 years)
- Creating and managing digital guidelines
