Tester / Test Leader – Digital services for employment support

An experienced tester with strong leadership skills is sought for a role in a cross-functional team developing and maintaining digital solutions in employment support. The team works agile and consists of specialists in development, UX design, product management, and testing.
Main requirements:
  • Competence level 3 (4–8 years experience)
  • ISTQB certification
  • At least 3 years documented experience in testing and test automation
  • At least 3 years experience in JavaScript or TypeScript development, preferably frontend-oriented
  • At least 3 years experience in test automation with Playwright for GUI tests
  • Experience working in autonomous agile development teams
  • Experience working with Scrum and knowledge of agile ceremonies and tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Very good communication skills in Swedish, spoken and written
Responsibilities:
  • Combine test leadership with operational test work
  • Develop and complete existing test automation mainly using Playwright
  • Test APIs using Postman
  • Conduct browser tests in various environments
  • Use Visual Studio Code and other relevant tools
  • Use Horizon for backend verification and Kibana for troubleshooting
  • Perform accessibility testing according to standards such as WCAG, using screen readers like NVDA
  • Collaborate closely with developers, testers, product owners, and platform teams
Required hard skills:
  • ISTQB certification
  • 3+ years test automation experience
  • 3+ years JavaScript/TypeScript development experience
  • Experience with Playwright for GUI test automation
  • Experience with Postman for API testing
  • Proficiency in Visual Studio Code
  • Familiarity with Horizon and Kibana
  • Experience working in Scrum and using Jira and Confluence
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience in complex technical environments with multiple system integrations
  • Incident management, operations and maintenance experience
  • Own code in version-controlled repositories demonstrable on demand
  • Strategic test work and test process improvement
  • Accessibility testing according to WCAG standards
