Tester

We are looking for an experienced tester to join one of our functional application groups. In this role, you become part of a larger team consisting of testers and application experts, working closely with the application's test leader. You will contribute your competence and experience in testing, responsible for planning, designing, and executing test cases, managing deviations, and actively participating in the group's sprint planning sessions.
Main requirements:
  • Self-driven, proactive, and flexible working style.
  • Extensive experience in system testing with understanding of how testing ensures quality in systems and applications.
  • Experience working with sprint planning, progress reporting, and issue follow-up.
  • Ability to read and analyze requirements documentation to develop test cases.
  • Documented experience creating and executing test cases in relevant tools such as ALM/QC or equivalents.
  • Good understanding of testing methodology and terminology, preferably evidenced by ISTQB certification or equivalent knowledge.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
Responsibilities:
  • Review requirements and ensure they are testable.
  • Plan and organize test activities, including ordering test data.
  • Create, document, and execute test cases.
  • Manage defects including reporting and follow-up.
  • Participate in daily planning and prioritization of tasks within the team.
  • Provide status updates to the test leader and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in sprint planning and other agile activities.
