The Swedish Armed Forces seeks a Technical System Leader to join their Secure Systems department, focusing on technical systems for electronic warfare and anti-drone operations. The role involves managing system requirements, supplier deliveries, system status, operations, maintenance, and training to support Sweden's defense capabilities.
Main requirements:
  • Academic education in technology, IT, or systems science or equivalent experience
  • Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
  • Ability to lead requirements management to ensure supplier materiel is maintainable
  • Lead acceptance of systems from suppliers
  • Lead planning, execution, follow-up, and reporting of system status, operations, and maintenance
  • Lead war-time placement of materiel to war units
  • Lead review and audit of technical documentation
  • Ensure training availability for operations and maintenance staff
  • Actively work with continuous improvements
Responsibilities:
  • Managing technical systems for electronic warfare and anti-drone within the Secure Systems section
  • Planning and overseeing system reception and deployment
  • Maintaining system status and operational readiness
  • Conducting documentation reviews and audits
  • Coordinating training and development for operational personnel
  • Collaborating closely with end-users and Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV)
Required hard skills:
  • Academic background in technical/IT/systems science or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills in Swedish and English
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience in defense industry, Swedish Armed Forces, FMV, or similar government agency
  • Experience managing systems in large organizations
  • Knowledge of electronic warfare, anti-drone systems, or intelligence and security systems
