Develop your skills as a system technician within our Windows server environments while making everyday life easier for residents and businesses in Sweden. Join Trafikverket's qualified datacenter team responsible for operation and maintenance of Windows environments, including installation, hardening, troubleshooting, and resolving issues of Windows server operating systems. Work independently with significant responsibility and collaborate daily with the team, other teams, managers, and suppliers. The role may include on-call duties and dispatch roles during evenings and weekends. Main requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience managing Windows Server on-premise 2016 or later
  • At least 1 year technical post-secondary IT education or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Reading comprehension in English
Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain Trafikverket's Windows server environments
  • Install and harden Windows server operating systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising
  • Work independently with responsibility
  • Communicate daily with team members, other teams, managers, and suppliers
  • Possibly perform on-call and dispatch duties during evenings and weekends
Required hard skills:
  • Experience with Windows Server versions 2016 or newer on-premise
  • Technical IT education or equivalent experience
  • Swedish language proficiency (spoken and written)
  • English reading comprehension
Recommended hard skills:
  • Experience in complex Windows Server environments
  • Experience or theoretical knowledge of Windows clusters
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Experience with VMware and Active Directory
