Länsstyrelsen Västra Götalands län is seeking a skilled System Specialist to manage and develop user/office-related technology, systems, and applications. The role involves maintaining and enhancing IT workplace services including computers, phones, and conference room technology for 21 Swedish county administrative boards. This position offers flexibility, requires travel within Sweden, and focuses on digitalization projects with increasing complexity and automation.
Main requirements:
  • Documented experience in program and project leadership.
  • Documented experience in application investigation on PC/Windows clients.
  • Experience in developing service deliveries including hardware, especially conference room technology.
  • Experience with procurement.
  • Experience in conducting mapping, needs analyses and risk analyses.
  • Experience working with IT in public sector environments.
  • Documented practical experience working with Service Desk services.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop digital workplace services including computers, telephones, conference room technology and accessories across 21 county boards in Sweden.
  • Maintain systems and applications on workplace computers.
  • Communicate with delivery area managers and management about new needs and follow up on existing services and products.
  • Participate in the transformation towards automation and varied-size projects and assignments.
