The Swedish Customs IT department in Luleå is northern Sweden's largest employer in IT, with about 320 employees. The role involves working with the latest technology and participating in development across several exciting business areas. The System Expert IT Infrastructure position works within the IT operations coordination function to ensure a cost-effective and secure IT infrastructure throughout its lifecycle, involving architectural overview, daily operations, coordination, continuous improvements, and collaboration across IT functions.
Main requirements:
- Broad experience in IT infrastructure operations, including dependencies between environments/infrastructure and applications, systems, and services, gained within the last three years.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in Swedish and English.
- Swedish citizenship required.
Responsibilities:
- Work on overall IT infrastructure architecture.
- Handle daily operational incidents involving hardware and software.
- Coordinate ongoing work at an overarching level within the IT operations unit.
- Independently work on continuous improvements.
- Plan and coordinate new environment setups together with other IT functions.
- Occasionally lead IT infrastructure-related tasks or projects on a smaller scale.
- Manage IT infrastructure and services orders.
Required hard skills:
- Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure operations.
- Experience with server, storage, backup, data centers, communication, and middleware.
- Ability to coordinate and manage IT infrastructure workstreams.
