System Engineer with focus on Jas 39 Gripen

Contribute to safety and security in society by ensuring continuous airworthiness of aviation systems. Work on technical documentation, maintenance updates, and operational support for aircraft such as fighter jets, helicopters, and unmanned aerial systems, primarily for the Swedish Armed Forces.
Main requirements:
- University or college education, preferably in Aeronautical Engineering, or secondary education in aeronautics with relevant work experience.
- Strong proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to be detail-oriented, service-minded, communicative, receptive, and development-oriented.
- Capability to collaborate effectively and build relationships across many interfaces.
- Self-leadership with ability to structure work and take initiative within established frameworks.
- Must pass applicable security clearance and possibly citizenship requirements due to the position's sensitivity.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuous airworthiness by managing technical documentation and maintenance updates in material systems for internal and external customers.
- Support system users and participate in development projects related to fleet management systems Fenix and AMMS.
- Perform maintenance planning and configuration updates for various aircraft including fighter jets, helicopters, and unmanned systems.
- Develop and conduct training for fleet management systems.
- Travel domestically and occasionally internationally as required.
Required hard skills:
- Knowledge and experience in aviation maintenance roles such as technician, system engineer, or production planner.
- Experience with maintenance planning and interpretation of maintenance directives and regulations like EMAR, ICAO, IATA, and EASA within CAMO.
- Experience or education related to continuing airworthiness management.
Recommended hard skills:
- Experience in maintenance directives, security classification procedures, and international aviation regulations.
- Familiarity with fleet management systems based on Maintenix like Fenix and AMMS.
