System Engineer

As a System Engineer at Saab, you will work with communication systems and networks alongside our customers. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle including development, operation, and decommissioning of systems and subsystems. Working in a team with specialists and project managers, collaboration and communication are key to delivering successfully.
Main requirements:
  • Experience as a civil or university engineer with a few years in a similar role
  • Strong interest in technology and motivation to grow and be challenged
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate easily, and flexibility
  • Experience in networking and communication
  • Experience with radio systems
  • Experience with Cisco routers and switches
  • Knowledge of VoIP, Cisco CUCM
  • Understanding of IT security
  • Skill in system adaptation and integration
  • Documentation skills
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design new systems for airborne and ground-based communication
  • Maintain and develop existing communication systems
  • Prepare reports
  • Develop new solutions and present to customers
  • Analyze and interpret requirements specifications
