Maintenance Engineer/ILS Engineer for Underwater Systems

You will work with Integrated Logistics Support (ILS/IPS) within Specialty Engineering & Verification at Underwater Systems, playing a crucial role in ensuring operational readiness of advanced torpedo systems and underwater vehicles used by defense forces and civilian customers worldwide. You will design and document user-friendly maintenance procedures for complex underwater systems to ensure high availability, analyze systems to identify potential issues and propose innovative solutions, collaborating closely with other disciplines to ensure effective and understandable maintenance processes.
Main requirements:
  • Technical education with at least a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both oral and written
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and document user-friendly maintenance procedures for complex underwater systems
  • Perform system analysis to identify potential problem areas and propose innovative solutions
  • Collaborate closely with other disciplines to ensure maintenance procedures are effective and understandable
  • Support the entire lifecycle of underwater systems from design through implementation and support
Required hard skills:
  • Technical education in engineering or similar
  • Proficient communication in Swedish and English
