The Swedish Armed Forces is looking for a System Developer specializing in MS SQL databases. The role involves maintenance, development, and migration of databases within an agile and secure IT environment, supporting Sweden's defense capabilities.
Main requirements:
  • Relevant university or college education in IT or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of experience in development and maintenance of MS SQL Server databases.
  • Proficient in both spoken and written Swedish and English.
  • Swedish citizenship.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and management of MS SQL Server databases.
  • Further development of existing MS SQL Server databases.
  • Migration and loading of databases.
  • Collaborate as a self-driven and solution-oriented team member to achieve goals.
Required hard skills:
  • MS SQL Server database development and maintenance
  • Swedish and English language proficiency
Recommended hard skills:
  • Agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban or similar)
  • Azure DevOps services and products or equivalents
  • Development in cloud environments
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Git, CI/CD tools
  • Programming knowledge in C# or similar
